The Long Eaton Guild consists of eleven companies based in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire, all of whom make by hand, furniture of the highest quality and supply both independent retailers and national multiples such as John Lewis, Harrods and Hopewells of Nottingham.
Our primary objective is to work together to maintain the highest standards of proficiency and to continue to support and develop the mastery of these skills in the future, and is committed to generating a higher level of consumer awareness for quality hand-made British furniture.
Long Eaton has a long history of making bespoke English furniture. Each company within the Guild prides itself on creating individual hand-crafted pieces that can be admired, enjoyed and appreciated by the discerning buyer and many can trace their beginnings back several generations.
For 14 years running, the Long Eaton Guild has organised and sponsored the Long Point Exhibition. Long Point is a trade-only exhibition where furniture manufacturers of only the highest standard display and demonstrate their wares. Only a limited number of imported products are allowed within the exhibition itself, provided they are of a sufficient quality.
From traditional pieces through to the very contemporary, design is at the heart of every piece that our members manufacture.
We consider form and function, aesthetics and empathy, lifestyle and beauty. All our members take a considered approach to every piece of furniture they make. From the skeletal structure of the chair or sofa in the finest of woods to the finish of the upholstery itself, no facet of the piece is left un-noticed.
Customers and retailers can choose from a range of uniquely well thought out designs and many also offer a bespoke service..
